Love letter.

Ah, the love letter. A lost art in the modern age. Replaced by e-mails, text messages, and the phone, there is no longer the "I pine for you" letter that would be anxiously awaited for, received, and devoured.

I don't think I've ever received a love letter (I've received some creepy letters and e-mails). I've gotten some sweet emotionally charged e-mails, but never a love letter. And when I read this one (which is very simple and to the point), I wonder how I would feel. Would I be jaded? Would I be moved?

I still think they're sweet and cute. I mean, come on. We all know about Beethoven's Immortal Beloved!

I'm opening up this subject to discussion on the comments: I'd like to know your thoughts on love letters. Kitschy? Cute? Nauseating? Waste of time? I want to know!

And please, be reasonable...provide explanations for your position so you don't fall into the realm of logical fallacy. :)
