10.10.10 Graduation

10.10.10 was a heady day. Not only was I lucky enough to attend a friend's wedding, but I had some gradumacating of my own to do. Yes, I am finally done. I am now a Master. Of Arts in English (and Education) at least. It was a long and funky journey with it's ups and downs, but it was worth it. I have so many experiences and friends that wouldn't have been gained if I didn't pursue this, so I don't regret it. A post on grad school will be up soon, but for now, I want to share some pictures of the day.

I'm not going to lie, I cried. I know a lot of people don't care about commencement, but it represented so much for me. The end of a chapter, the start of something new. How did you guys feel upon graduation?

Congratulations again! I love those photos, especially the one of you in line.

My law school graduation also felt unexpectedly emotional for me. As you know, I had a lot of difficulty making it through law school. I definitely felt on the verge of tears multiple times sitting in that auditorium during commencement.

It was a mixture of:
-Holy shit these were the darkest 3 years of my life and I made it through to the end.
-This is actually an amazing accomplishment and I recognize that and feel proud of myself for it for the first time ever.
-MY GOD, IT'S OVER. IT'S OVER.

So I totally know how you feel. I will say my law school graduation was one of the best days of my life for many reasons, and not just because Ed proposed that day! The relief I felt is very hard to describe.

Thank you! :) I can totally relate to everything you said about your law school experience because I felt the same way too. I honestly feel much lighter now that I have that weight off my chest, it's just...so much more chill right now. No more worries!
